The Green Deal and the goals it sets for the countries of the community are discussed. An analysis of the wine production in Bulgaria and the European Union (EU) has been made. A definition of sustainable tourism according to the leading ecological norms has been derived. The goals set are related to the new conditions that wine tourism will face. The expectations from the implementation of the European Green Pact are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between wine producers and wine tourism. Examples of sustainable wine tourism in a modern, efficient and competitive economy are given.
