The relation between the distance between tangling parts and its relative frequency is discussed, and the frequency obtained with the sensor almost agrees with that by eye. Yams with a large number of tangles have not only a small standard deviation of the distance between tangling parts but also a large interlacing effect index, which represents both the number of tangles and the distinction between opening and tangling parts. 摘要
