This research can be classified into quasi-experimental research using the pre-test and post-test design. The subject of this research was class D of the second semester students majoring in English Education, FBS, Unima 2018/2019 consist of 31 students as experimental class and E class which consist of 32 students as the control class. The result show the use of jigsaw model in English reading comprehension is more effective than learning using conventional media. This is evidence by the value of the weight of effectiveness of 14.36%. From this result, the research conclude that the use of Jigsaw model can improve students’ reading understanding. 摘要

本研究旨在描述拼图模型在提高阅读理解中的应用。本研究可分为准实验研究,采用前测和后测设计。本研究的对象是FBS第二学期英语教育专业D班的学生,Unima 2018/2019由31名学生组成的实验班和E班由32名学生组成的对照班。结果表明,在英语阅读理解中使用拼图模型比使用传统媒体学习更有效。这是由有效性权重值为14.36%的证据。从这一结果可以看出,使用拼图模型可以提高学生的阅读理解能力。关键词:拼图,模型,改进,理解
