However, due to model uncertainty, the estimation accuracy of the friction coefficient is poor. Therefore, this manuscript proposed a clutch torque estimation method using a higher order disturbance observer designed to estimate the time series disturbance. The proposed method was verified by powertrain test bench experiment.
