We also present a case series of patients who have undergone the procedure. We first carefully dissected the sural nerve, superficial peroneal nerve, and its branches from each cadaveric foot and evaluated injuries following the mini-BEAR osteotomy cuts. We then measured and recorded the distance between the osteotomy cuts and these anatomic structures.
