The basic of video compression requires a technique known as motion estimation (ME). There are many algorithms to find the motion estimation of current block in reference frame. In this paper we have proposed an algorithm of Block Matching for motion estimation named as Reduced Three Steps Logarithmic Search (RTSLS) which is computationally more efficient than many of the existing techniques.
