The purpose of the ongoing study is to test and consolidate a new mode of operation, adaptable production, within the companies. The study starts out with the assumption that the shift to adaptable production calls for changes in four dimensions: group and network relations, tools and procedures for developmental activities, management and employee skills, and work and enterprise cultures.
