This research belongs to Educational Research and Development (R&D) using a simplified six steps of (Gall, Gall, & Borg, 2003) model. The finding shows that the students learn English to achieve the 2013 curriculum learning objectives. The necessities of the teaching and learning English is to improve students' English skills so that they gain good score for the national examinations though students have less motivation to learn reading and they cannot learn independently. They cannot differentiate or understand WH-questions that is important in learning reading. The efficacy of this product helps students to improve their reading skill especially to understand the topic, the generic structure, the main idea, the grammar and the vocabulary used in the text. 摘要

本研究的目的是:(1)运用情境教学法为莫渔单高中学生开发辅助阅读材料;(2)描述辅助阅读材料的效果。本研究使用(Gall, Gall, & Borg, 2003)模型的简化六个步骤,属于教育研究与开发(R&D)。研究结果表明,学生学习英语是为了实现2013年课程的学习目标。教学和学习英语的必要性是提高学生的英语技能,使他们在国家考试中取得好成绩,尽管学生学习阅读的动力不足,不能独立学习。他们不能区分或理解对学习阅读很重要的wh问题。该产品的功效是帮助学生提高他们的阅读技能,特别是理解文章的主题、一般结构、主旨、语法和词汇。作为本研究成果的辅助阅读材料为学生提供了额外的学习资源。
