Comparison of Chinese and Korean Idioms Derived from “Shishuoxinyu”

Many Chinese idioms and allusions come from the “Shishuoxinyu”, which is concise and implicit in language. The idioms and allusions recorded in it reflect the ideology and culture of the Han and Wei dynasties, and have been passed down to this day with profound influence. After its spread to the Korean Peninsula, this book was widely praised by literati, widely circulated, commented on, and cited, leaving behind many story idioms that have been used to this day.
