The idioms and allusions recorded in it reflect the ideology and culture of the Han and Wei dynasties, and have been passed down to this day with profound influence. After its spread to the Korean Peninsula, this book was widely praised by literati, widely circulated, commented on, and cited, leaving behind many story idioms that have been used to this day. The idioms in “Shishuoxinyu” reflect China’s cultural influence on the Korean Peninsula and the profound historical and cultural origins of the two countries. However, they have undergone significant changes in their respective idiom systems since their transmission.
