The importance of personal values for job satisfaction in a representative sample of working people in Lithuania was assessed. The results of data analysis showed that higher job satisfaction was preconditioned by higher education, more expressed (more important) security, self-direction, and personal values achievement types. Lower job satisfaction was preconditioned by more expressed (more important) power type of personal values.
