He has gained a number of prestigious recognitions of his work, including Certificate of Outstanding Recognition by Yale University for work on energy efficiency in museums and libraries (2018), and the Grand Prix European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, category: research for project NOAH’S ARK (2009). ** Ewa Manikowska is Associate Professor at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland.
