El pensamiento guevarista y el diseño estratégico-táctico del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (Chile, 1967-1988) [Artículo evaluado por pares]

ResumenDesde su fundación en 1965, hasta la actualidad, el Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR), de Chile, ha sido identificado como un grupo político-militar de orientación guevarista. Ello porque su fundación coincide con el apogeo de los movimientos de dicho tipo y, por otro lado, porque sus orientaciones estratégicas relevaban la lucha armada como un componente fundamental en la conquista del poder. No obstante, en el largo ciclo que media entre 1965, su fundación, y 1990, el inicio de su desintegración, las orientaciones políticas del MIR fueron heterogéneas, imbricándose en ellas los planteamientos leninistas, trotskistas, maoístas y guevaristas. No obstante lo anterior, la Revolución Cubana y la figura del Che Guevara ejercieron una mayor influencia ética y moral entre la militancia mirista, tanto a nivel de direcciones como de bases. En este artículo nos proponemos analizar la incidencia de ambos fenómenos en la configuración del diseño estratégico y táctico del MIR chileno. Palabras Clave MIR; Chile; Historia; Guevarismo; Política AbstractSince its founding in 1965, until today, the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR), of Chile, has been identified as a politic-military group with a Guevarist orientation. This is because its foundation coincides with the apogee of the movements of this type and, on the other hand, because its strategic orientations relied on the armed struggle as a fundamental component in the conquest of power. However, in the long cycle that took place between 1965, its founding, and 1990, the beginning of its disintegration, the political orientations of the MIR were heterogeneous, incorporating the Leninist, Trotskyist, Maoist and Guevarist approaches. Notwithstanding the above, the Cuban Revolution and the figure of Che Guevara exerted a greater ethical and moral influence among the mirista militancy, both at the level of the leaderships and the rank and file. In this article we propose to analyse the incidence of both phenomena in the configuration of the strategic and tactical design of the Chilean MIR. Keywords MIR; Chile; History; Guevarism; Politics
