Research on entrepreneurship and events has evolved over the last twenty-three years in terms of topics covered but there are still many research gaps remaining in the literature that are related to changing practices. In this article previous research contexts are explained in terms of why entrepreneurship is endemic in an events context. Twenty-three years of entrepreneurship-related research (2000-2023): Published works in Event Management
This commentary discusses the progression of entrepreneurship related research about event management and what is needed in the future to address research gaps.
