La testimonianza dei luoghi : trauma, memoria, identità e paesaggio nella Tregua di Levi

italianoQuesto contributo tenta di delineare una parte del processo di ricostruzione identitaria – dopo l’esperienza traumatica del Lager – messo in opera da Primo Levi attraverso la scrittura letteraria, in particolare nel libro La tregua (1963). Oggetto d’indagine principale, in questa prospettiva di studio, sono le rappresentazioni dei luoghi e dei paesaggi – inserite nel quadro di una svolta epocale (gennaio-ottobre 1945) – che vengono ad assumere un ruolo chiave, come depositarie di un significato umano, nel processo di ricostruzione di se iniziato dal Levi reduce col difficile viaggio di ritorno da Auschwitz. EnglishThis contribution attempts to outline a part of the process of identity building, after the traumatic experience of the concentration camp, implemented by Primo Levi in his literary writing, especially in La tregua (1963). The focus lies here on the representation of place and landscape – set in the context of a historic turning point (January-October 1945) – that plays a fundamental role, as a repository of human sense, in the process of the construction of the self begun by Levi on his return during the difficult journey back from Auschwitz.
