As a result, it can be overlooked or falsely diagnosed as another less-debilitating medical condition. A similar situation is presented in this paper. A young female presented with no risk factors or specific red-flag symptoms for malignancy, and the initial investigational findings strongly supported her presenting symptoms, which masked the main cause of her complaint.
