Remaining under the care of their parents is often encountered in the case persons characterized with mental dysfunctions. Therefore, as a part of the research, the author attempted to take a closer look at the situation of parents of children with intellectual disability. The research material was the personal experiences of those parents, compiled through unstructured free interviews. The data was analyzed according to the grounded methodology principles.
