The population in this study was a student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Talaga. The population of this study amounted to 279 students. The research instrument refers to the development of self-reliance that must develop in adolescence expressed by Steinberg consisting of three aspects of emotional self-reliance, value independence and behavioral independence. The results of the data show that there are 24 students of SMA Negeri 1 Talaga which has a low category with a percentage of 8%.
