在文本信息提取(Text Information Extraction, TIE)过程中,对图像中的文本区域进行定位和提取。它是计算机视觉应用中一个活跃的研究问题。文本的多样性是由于文本的大小、样式、方向、对齐方式、低图像对比度和复杂背景的差异。图像提供的语义信息可用于不同的应用,如基于内容的图像检索、标识板识别等。文本信息提取包括文本图像分类、文本检测、定位、分割、增强和识别。本文简要回顾了用于自然场景图像文本定位的各种文本定位方法。
