Calismanin amaci, bir universite hastanesinde taseronlasma sonrasi calisanlarin isci sagligi ve is guvenligi acisindan durumlarini degerlendirmek, konuya yonelik farkindalik yaratmak ve genis capli calismalarin planlanip gerekli onlemlerin alinmasina katki saglamaktir. Yontem: Akdeniz Universitesi Hastanesi’nde taseron olarak calisan 1175 isciden, meslek gruplari temel alinarak tanimlayici arastirmanin 153 kisilik ornegi belirlenmis ve arastirmaya katilmayi kabul eden 128 calisana iki bolumden olusan anket uygulanmistir. Anketin ilk bolumunde sosyodemografik veriler ve arastirmaya iliskin acik uclu sorular, ikinci bolumunde ise besli Likert tipi soru kokleri yer almaktadir. Bulgular: Katilimcilarin %62.5’i is oncesi saglik risk egitimi almadigini, %82.8’i riskler konusunda isveren tarafindan bilgilendirilmedigini, %85.2’si asi yapilmadigini, %57.0’si koruyucu donanimin yetersiz oldugunu, %73.4’u yaptiklari isin saglik riski yarattigini, %71.1’i taseron calismanin sagligi olumsuz etkiledigini, %94.6’si kadrolu calismanin guvenceli oldugunu belirtmislerdir. Sonuc: Calisma ortaminin saglik risklerinden arindirilmasi, is guvencesinin saglanmasi ve saglik hizmet uretiminde insan haklarinin yasama gecirilmesi icin taseronlasmaya son verilmesi gerekir. Anahtar Kelimeler : Taseronlasma, saglik hakki, isci sagligi, is guvenligi Due diligence of occupational health and safety of subcontractor health workers in Akdeniz University Objective : The Health Transformation Project, one of the outcomes of neo-liberal policies, includes subcontracting Subcontracting in the health sector affects the health of individual workers, and due to the quality of the service it produces, it also affects the health of the community. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the effect of subcontracting on health and safety of workers in university hospitals that serve as centers of science, education and research, and further to raise awareness of the effects of subcontracting, to plan large scale studies and considerthe precautions that need to be taken. Methods : The sample group of the quantitative research was determined by considering work groups as a basis and choosing 153 workers from 1175 subcontractors working in Akdeniz University Hospital. The survey consisting of 2 sections were applied to 128 workers who agreed to participate in the research. In the first section of the survey there are open-ended questions related to research and socio demographic data, in the second section there are five-point Likert type questions. Results : 62.5% of the participants stated that they had not had any health risk education before they started to work, 82.8% stated that they were not informed by the employer about the potential risks, 85.2% stated that no vaccination was provided, 57.0% stated that the protective equipment was not sufficient, 73.4% stated that the job they perform has a health risk, 71.1% stated that working for a subcontractor effects their health negatively, 94.6% stated that working as a permanent staff member is secure. Conclusions : Subcontracting should be ended in order to remove health risks from working environment, to provide safety at work, and to actualize human rights in health services.
