SOCIALIZAÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO NA EDUCAÇÃO: O ESTUDO DA PRÉ-HISTÓRIA NAS SÉRIES INICIAIS DO ENSINO FORMAL

The paper proposes a new reflection on the socialization of Pre-Historic studies since the early  school years, focusing the relevance of such knowledge as praxis in child education. The contributes of  Prehistory to elementary school students are discussed and a brief analysis of the education system’s history  is made, defining pedagogy and didactics as pivotal trends of the formal education system’s practices. It  concludes with the enumeration of relevant factors for the study of Prehistory as principle and fundament  for the understanding of our species.
