在西澳大利亚西北部，用一种未被描述的亚种(等翅目:白蚁科)的幼虫采集了第8种鳞蝽(Drepanoxenus Kistner and Watson, D. box sp. n.)，并对其幼虫进行了分类。这是第一次从一个地下物种的巢穴中记录到锥虫。
