Purpose of review The treatment of hallux valgus is dependent on multiple factors from clinical examination, patient considerations, radiographic assessment, and surgeon preference. Numerous techniques have been described to address this common disorder. The purpose of this paper is to provide an updated review of the surgical treatment of hallux valgus.
