The results show that the ranking of technical efficiency with consideration of accidents has significantly differed from that without accounting for accidents. 摘要

公共汽车在提供理想的服务(运输服务)的同时,偶尔也会发生意外,可能导致死亡、重伤、轻伤和/或财产损失。因此,在衡量公共汽车运输效率时,如果没有明确考虑到事故对产出的负面影响,对结果的解释可能会产生误导。为了更加合理,本文提出了一个随机生产前沿模型,该模型将事故的影响纳入了测量中。本研究以2001-2006年间台北市10家公车营运商为研究对象。结果表明,考虑事故的技术效率排名与不考虑事故的技术效率排名有显著差异。管理方面的影响表明,公共汽车承运人不仅可以通过减少投入和/或增加理想的产出来提高生产效率,而且还可以通过改善其安全记录来提高生产效率。
