The Epimmune approach is based on separate vaccine immunogens designed to induce, or augment, helper T-lymphocyte (HTL) or cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) responsiveness when administered in conjunction with HAART. The vaccines are composed of carefully selected, minimal HTL or CTL epitopes.
