An extensive series of absorption lines has been observed and assigned to the <em>J</em> = 3 to 11 members of the <em>K</em> = 2 ← 3E<sub>1</sub>, Q-branch transition in the <em>v</em><sub>t</sub> = 1 excited torsional state. Zero-field frequencies for all the assigned transitions are given with improved accuracy over those calculated from available molecular constants.
