Hg. But nowadays, the fashion being to soften a strong pulse, these waters are discovered to have a remarkable effect in lowering the arterial pressure. So remarkable are these waters that it is averred that they can increase the pressure when it is low and lower the pressure when it is low and lower the pressure when it is high.
