Greywater reuse and recycling is a financially sound and appealing solution for fulfilling future water demand. The current investigative study is primarily concerned with describing segregated grey wastewater (bathroom, laundry, and kitchen) from diverse rural families and based on the socio-economic classes of staff members who live in the rural area of Karunya Nagar. The indicators examined showed considerable differences across different economic classes, according to statistical analysis. The results of the current study demonstrated that household habits, activities, and wastewater sources all have a significant impact on the characteristics of greywater. This research will be useful in developing a sustainable, cost-effective treatment system that will allow homeowners to safely recycle and reuse greywater produced by various sources. Emerging contaminants pose a great threat to human health.
