While open offices have benefits for organizations regarding supervising employees, efficiency and flexibility, there are findings regarding employees to have negative features such as noise, loss of organizational identity and increase in mental workload. This study aims to assess the positive and negative effects of the open office by using qualitative research design. Three themes were named as physical properties, human relations and solution suggestions.
