BRASIL: ANATOMIA DE UM POVO COLONIZADO - ANÁLISE DO DISCURSO DE LUIS RUFFATO NA FEIRA DO LIVRO DE FRANKFURT // BRAZIL: ANATOMY OF A COLONIZED PEOPLE - DISCOURSE ANALYSIS LUIS RUFFATO THE FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR

O presente artigo analisa o discurso proferido pelo escritor brasileiro Luis Ruffato na abertura da Feira do Livro de Frankfurt, na edicao de 2013, quando o Brasil foi homenageado. Partindo da hipotese de que os sentidos simbolicos sao construidos no interior da pratica discursiva, o objetivo e analisar a construcao identitaria do pais e do povo brasileiro, transmitida no discurso do escritor e como ela se coloca como um empecilho no processo de internacionalizacao do Brasil, no que tange as questoes sociais, politicas e culturais. A analise sera feita atraves da categoria “modalidade” dentro do Significado Identificacional de Fairclough (2003), que revela como que o discurso se configura na construcao e na negociacao de identidades. This article analyzes, the speech by the Brazilian writer Luis Ruffato the opening of the Frankfurt Book Fair, in the edition of 2013, when Brazil was the honored. Assuming that the symbolic meanings are built inside the discursive practice, the goal is to analyze the identity construction of the country and the Brazilian people, broadcast on the writer's speech and how it stands as an obstacle in the process of internationalization of Brazil, with respect to social, political and cultural issues. The analysis will be done by category "modality" within the meaning of identificational Fairclough’s Identificational meaning (2003), which reveals how the discourse is shaped in construction and identity negotiation.
