The participants of this research were the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Lape academic year 2020/2021. The sample of this researh are consisted 32 of students  in the control class and 31 students in the experimental class. The data collection of this research was pre test and post test. Then, data was analyzed by using SPSS. The reseult of this research was student’s reading comprehension by using reading for meaning strategy of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Lape in academic year 2020/2021 wa significant. Futhermore, the mean score of the reading comprehension ability of the students taught by using conventional strategies of the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Lape was 78.87. 摘要

本研究旨在了解2020/2021学年SMAN 1 Lape十一年级学生的阅读理解情况。本研究方法为实验研究。本研究的参与者是2020/2021学年SMAN 1 Lape的十一年级学生。本研究的样本包括对照班的32名学生和实验班的31名学生。本研究的数据收集包括测试前和测试后。然后用SPSS软件对数据进行统计分析。本研究的结果是,在2020/2021学年,SMAN1-Lape十一年级学生使用阅读换意义策略的阅读理解具有显著意义。此外,SMAN1-Lape十一年级学生使用常规策略教学的学生阅读理解能力的平均得分为78.87。SMAN1 Lape十一年级学生的阅读理解能力与传统阅读策略教学的学生有显著差异。
