Firstly, calibration of camera parameters during photogrammetry is carried out through preset rectangular detection area. Secondly, the key frames are extracted from the video images and the target vehicle feature points and their image coordinates are identified by the image morphological processing. Then the actual coordinates of the characteristic points are determined through the coordinate conversion. Finally, the improved time interpolation method considering the acceleration between frames is used to identify the vehicle speed, so as to improve the accuracy of the vehicle speed measurement.
