Traumatic or iatrogenic injuries could provoke the penetration of several object into cervical spaces. Traffic accidents, brawls and gunshot represent the main causes for traumatic foreign bodies. In contrast, dental procedures are responsible for most of iatrogenic cases. From a diagnostic point of view, foreign bodies rarely suppose diagnostic problems. However, surgical removal might be difficult. This report describes the case of a 64 years old woman presented to the emergency service of our Hospital with two dressmaking pins in the floor of the mouth. The extraction was performed by oral approach and under general anesthesia. Interestingly, intraoperative echography and radioscopy were used for locating dressmaking pins.
