The purpose of this paper is to report on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on clinical practice in a part-time therapeutic care center (CATTP) that cares mostly for chronic psychotic patients. We will try and show that the pandemic has, paradoxically, played an important and positive role on the effect of group work by potentiating the creativity of patients and caregivers. We will present how the CATTP operates, try and identify the origins of creative ability, and focus on the therapeutic and testimonial benefits of creative writing workshops. © Médecine & Hygiène.
