I DIATOPISMI FRANCOFONI NELLA BASE OIM: NOTE SULLA REVISIONE DELLE MARCATURE GEOGRAFICHE PER IL LEMMARIO FRANCESE

Questo contributo descrive alcune modifiche recenti apportate al lemmario francese della base OIM, introdotte in seguito all’ampliamento delle ricerche ai diatopismi attestati negli spazi francofoni e alla conseguente necessità di utilizzare un sistema di ripartizione e marcatura geografica capace di distinguere tra le unità lessicali appartenenti al vocabolario condiviso da tutte le comunità francofone e quelle che costituiscono invece delle particolarità limitate ad una o più aree regionali. A questo scopo, viene anzitutto delineato brevemente l’evolversi di questo sotto-insieme di italianismi, per poi riflettere sulle categorie disponibili per la loro marcatura geografica e motivare la ridefinizione di alcune scelte. Saranno proposti degli estratti da schede lessicografiche tuttora in lavorazione al fine di illustrare più concretamente i diversi livelli di descrizione della variazione geografica nella banca dati. FRANCOPHONE DIATOPISMS IN THE OIM BASE: NOTES ON THE REVISION OF GEOGRAPHICAL MARKINGS FOR THE FRENCH LEMMARY This contribution describes some recent modifications to the French lemmary of the OIM base, introduced after the extension of research to the diatopisms attested in Francophone areas and the consequent need to use a system of distribution and geographical classification capable of distinguishing between lexical units belonging to the vocabulary shared by all French-speaking communities and those that constitute particularities limited to one or more regional areas. For this purpose, we will first briefly outline the evolution of this sub-group of Italianisms, then reflect on the categories available for their geographical marking and motivate the redefinition of certain choices. Extracts from lexicographic sheets which are still in progress will be proposed in order to illustrate more practically the different levels of description of geographical variation in the database.
