Various approaches have been taken to reduce metabolic syndrome starting from a mideteran diet, low gluten, and a ketogenic diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the ketogenic diet as a new strategy for handling schizophrenics. This study is a literature review using the Pubmed search engine and Science direct. The key words used was the ketogenic diet and schizophrenia. A total of 3 articles were analyzed according to the PRISMA protocol.
