Blood for testing was collected before CEA and twice after surgery. PRDX1 was determined by ELISA. Results: The timing of blood sampling did not affect PRDX1 levels (p > 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in serum PRDX1 levels between male and female groups and depending on the age of the patients (p > 0.05).
