Propeller noise is measured in different operating conditions for uncoated and coated propellers and also, the effects of silicone foul release (FR) coating, inter sleek 700 (IS700), are investigated on the cavitation delay and noise reduction of a marine propeller in cavitation tunnel. Finally, results are presented in low advance coefficients for cavitation inception and development, and noise reduction.
