Morphology of the second instar of Diaspidiotus ostreaeformis (Curtis, 1843) (Hemiptera: Diaspididae)
Abstract The second instar of Diaspidiotus ostreaeformis is redescribed and illustrated. Dimorphic characters are presented. It is shown that in both sexes of this species the numbers of long macroducts differ in specimens from different host-plants.
