Diversity of Coccinellidae (Coleoptera) Collected with Malaise Traps in the Tropical Dry Forest of Two Biosphere Reserves in Mexico
Abstract The diversity of Coccinellidae (Coleoptera) of the Tropical Dry Forest of the Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve (RBCC) in the state of Jalisco and the Sierra de Huautla Biosphere Reserve (REBIOSH) in Morelos, Mexico was analyzed using Malaise traps. Monthly sampling was carried out for one year in each study area. Fifteen individuals representing seven species were collected at the RBCC; these include Azya orbigera Mulsant, Diomus sp. 1, Diomus debilis (LeConte), Scymnobius flavifrons (Melsheimer), Zagloba beaumonti Casey, Scymnus (Pullus) dozieri Gordon, and Stethorus caseyi Gordon and Chapin.
