Zur Entstehung der Hamburger Papyrussammlung

Abstract The article reconstructs the foundation of the papyrus collection in Hamburg and its acquisitions through the “Deutsches Papyruskartell“. Documents about the restoration and publication of the papyri allow to identify the inventory numbers belonging to single lots.
