The primary audience of this book is translation educators and students, and the content caters for many different specializations, making the textbook appealing across this audience. I also see a lot of potential readers in the business side, in translation agencies in different subfields, in newsrooms and in interpreting contexts. A third group will be researchers interested in indirect translation, and the authors explicitly target researchers as well. A lot of emphasis in theoretizations and empirical research has so far been on literary translation, and the broad focus of this book will likely open new avenues of thought and encourage new research agendas into the rich and varied phenomenon of indirect translation.
