La clasificacion geotecnica de cinco sitios siguio el procedimiento del sistema de clasificacion de macizos rocosos (RMR - Rock Mass Rating). Se encontro que la litologia varia entre rocas duras (lavas andesiticas y daciticas) y depositos de naturaleza variable incluyendo derrubios, till, lahares y flujos piroclasticos.
