Triangel Concept Learning Design Using Palembang Cultural for Class VII Students
This research was carried out with the aim of producing a triangular concept learning design using the Palembang cultural context for class VII students with augmented reality technology. The subjects of this study were 19 students of class VII B at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 33 Palembang. The research method used is design research which is divided into three major stages, namely the preparing for the experiment stage, the design experiment stage which is divided into two cycles, namely pilot experiments and teaching experiments and the final stage, namely retrospective analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, student activity sheets, written tests and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. The final result of this study is a local instruction theory (LIT) which contains a series of learning processes in 4 activities, namely describing the triangular shape of the Musi 6 Palembang Bridge, identifying the properties of a triangle based on the length of its sides, identifying the properties of a triangle based on the size of the angle and solving the problem related to the properties of triangles based on the length of the sides and the size of the angles. The results of the learning experiment show that the cultural context of Palembang where this research focuses on the Musi 6 Palembang Bridge can be used as a reference point in triangle material in class VII SMP.
