The story is told from documentary and oral sources created for this investigation on a part of the History of Education in Paraná. The annuals of the Universidade Federal do Paraná, promoter of the Universidade Volante were consulted, which provided quantitative data. The oral sources contributed to qualitative aspects and were created from interviews with two educators who participated in the project, one as an educator and the other as a student. Interviews were conducted following the theoretical and methodological procedures of Oral History, which are presented in the article.
