They build on incredible scholarship, push it into new directions, and offer quantifiable evidence which allows us to better understand the otherwise opaque world of the railways in times of conflict. They also push primary sources to the forefront, whether through a document section or through the multitude of individual stories. Excellent sources for any student of Holocaust history, and a rich addition to historiographical discussions for scholars of this period.
