This article is devoted to the study and development of visual material in the discipline “Analytical Chemistry” and determining the effectiveness of its introduction into the educational environment. \nThe purpose of the study was to study the role of visual information in the process of teaching students of medical and biological profile and in determining the prospects for its further implementation. \nMethods. The study was conducted among second-year students by the method of a social experiment and a subsequent survey of participants about the advantages and disadvantages of the innovative system of the educational process. Statistical processing was carried out using the «Statistica 10» package. \nResults. It was found that the group of students who engaged with the use of visual material, showed high results by the indicators: “Achievement, %” and “Quality, %”. An algorithm for creating visual material using three basic methods was developed. \nScope of the results. The results of the study can serve as a basis for expanding the implementation of visual forms in the educational process of higher education institutions on a permanent basis. Visual concepts and algorithms created by the authors can be used as educational material. \nConclusion. It was revealed that in the context of the development of innovative technologies, the traditional format of the educational process is less effective and the introduction of visual material is necessary for its further development. The results of the experiment and the survey revealed the disadvantages and advantages in the transition from a traditional format to an innovative one.
