Methods: 50 healthcare workers working in COVID-19 intensive care units and 50 healthcare workers working outside of intensive care units were participated in the survey. All healthcare professionals working actively during the COVID-19 pandemic process and volunteering for the research were included in the study. A survey consisting of 22 questions on the Maslach Burnout Scale was applied to a total of 100 healthcare professionals, including faculty members, specialist doctors, assistant doctors and nurses. Results: Although the Maslach Burnout Scale scores were higher in COVID-19 intensive care workers, it was not statistically significant.However, the ‘Depersonalization’ subscale scores of the Maslach scale were found to be statistically significantly higher in COVID-19 intensive care workers (p=0.039). Also, the mean scores of ‘Depersonalization’ were found to be significantly higher in males who participated in the survey (p=0.008).
