This, however, seems to be a common problem in the field in general and is not limited to the present volume. Despite some minor issues, Occult Roots of Religious Studies is an exciting addition to the body of literature on the early history of religious studies that will benefit a wide range of readers from students to seasoned scholars while open access makes it easily available to everybody interested in the subject.
