A multi-stage sampling technique was employed for the selection of 422 in-school girls in the selected secondary schools while a purposive sampling technique was used to select 13 school girls for focus group discussion. Frequency distribution table and summaries of descriptive statistics, inferential statistics of Pearson product-moment correlation analysis were used to test the research hypothesis. The study found that Most of the students 40.5% of the in-school girls have a high level of preparedness for menarche. Majority of the in-school girls 34.4% had moderate levels of attitudinal disposition towards menarche.
