Ethik für die Seelsorge – Seelsorge für die Ethik

The contribution reflects the tasks of theological ethics and pastoral care and relates both disciplines to one another with regard to Christian anthropology. It becomes clear how both, especially with regard to decision-making dilemmas in the lifestyle of modern individuals, benefit from each other when they enter into a communication on equal terms: An ethically sensitive pastoral care is not only empathic, but also serves the ethical orientation and ethics not only develops fundamental considerations about the correct conduct of life, but also engages in the complexity and individuality of spiritual care.
